Jose Gama currently holds the position of Business Development Manager for Professional Services in Europe and North Africa for Motorola Networks. He joined Motorola in 1998 as a System Engineer working in Portugal. Previously he was responsible for the delivery of Network Operation and Performance Services for a major European Operator.  Over the last 6 years, his focus has been business development for Motorola’s Professional Services including multi-vendor, multi-technology network performance services, wireless broadband consultancy services, and application services.  

Jose Gama completed a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronic systems and Computers. Finished in December 1995, in Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon. 

Steve has been in the telecommunications software and OSS market for eleven years, working at Newbridge Networks, Alcatel-Lucent and InfoVista. He is a regular speaker at events such as Management World, Carrier Ethernet World Congress, MPLS & Ethernet World Congress, Light Reading Live and is an active contributor on the marketing committee of the Metro Ethernet Forum. In his current role, Steve is responsible globally for InfoVista’s unified network, service and application performance reporting products and solutions, their positioning and go-to-market strategy.
